OpenBack is an unofficial renamed build of the open-source OpenFront project. It is provided without warranty and is not endorsed by OpenFront Inc.

Licenses

The program code is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0, including the upstream additional attribution terms. Assets included under resources/ are provided under their stated Creative Commons and individual license terms. The required © OpenFront and Contributors notices remain visible in the game.

Source availability

The complete corresponding source is this project tree. A network deployment must make the source for its deployed version available to its users as required by the AGPL.

OpenBack contributor attribution

OpenBack-authored modifications carry the additional attribution notice OpenBack modifications by frootz jhklphy. A copy using those modifications must preserve that notice alongside the existing upstream copyright and contributor notices, must mark its own changes, and must not claim to be an official or unmodified OpenBack release. See OPENBACK-NOTICE.md for the precise notice.
